Today the anthem of Animal Farm got stuck in my head. Than I have decided to share this song with you. It goes like this:
Beasts of England, beasts of Ireland,
Beasts of every land and clime,
Hearken to my joyful tidings
Of the golden future time.
Beasts of every land and clime,
Hearken to my joyful tidings
Of the golden future time.
Soon or late the day is coming,
Tyrant Man shall be o’erthrown,
And the fruitful fields of England
Shall be trod by beasts alone.
Tyrant Man shall be o’erthrown,
And the fruitful fields of England
Shall be trod by beasts alone.
Rings shall vanish from our noses,
And the harness from our back,
Bit and spur shall rust forever,
Cruel whips no more shall crack.
And the harness from our back,
Bit and spur shall rust forever,
Cruel whips no more shall crack.
Riches more than mind can picture,
Wheat and barley, oats and hay,
Clover, beans, and mangel-wurzels
Shall be ours upon that day.
Wheat and barley, oats and hay,
Clover, beans, and mangel-wurzels
Shall be ours upon that day.
Bright will shine the fields of England,
Purer shall its waters be,
Sweeter yet shall blow its breezes
On the day that sets us free.
Purer shall its waters be,
Sweeter yet shall blow its breezes
On the day that sets us free.
For that day we all must labour,
Though we die before it break;
Cows and horses, geese and turkeys,
All must toil for freedom’s sake.
Though we die before it break;
Cows and horses, geese and turkeys,
All must toil for freedom’s sake.
Beasts of England, beasts of Ireland,
Beasts of every land and clime,
Hearken well and spread my tidings
Of the golden future time.
Beasts of every land and clime,
Hearken well and spread my tidings
Of the golden future time.

Cuba: World's Biggest Car Museum
When Fidel Castro and Che Guevara started the revolution on 2 December 1956 and later on took down Cuban capitalist government they didn't know that they where on the road to make Cuba worlds biggest car museum. Fidel Castro with his fellow comrades entered the capital on 8 January 1959 and after that he made Cuba a communist state led by one party. In the early sixties Castro makes all privet properties public and owned by people of Cuba. Same thing have dona communists in Russia during their Revolution in 1917. How does this effects Cuba's car lot you might ask? Well after the Cubans overthrow the capitalist and became communist their big neighbors USA didn't like this. They would attack them but Russians where protecting Cuba. This stuff almost ignited WW III but we wont talk about that. Then USA started to sanction Cuba on everything and anything they could come up with. One of those sanctions was introduced on car importing and Cuban's had to use what they got. They keep the cars they already had and since the new car's where not imported their car lots was becoming a car lot full of old-timers. Almost nobody could afford a new car so they kept and cherished their old ones. That is the story how Cuba became worlds biggest car museum. Take a look at the pictures bellow.
Tariq Ali-Shadows of the Pomgranate Tree
Book Cover |
I recently bought this book and I liked it very much. It is a story about two different cultures destroying itself and not being able to live next to each other. They had so much to offer but they choose another path the path of hatred. The book was written by Tariq Ali (Punjabi, Urdu), (born 21 October 1943), he is a British Pakistani military historian, novelist, journalist, filmmaker, public intellectual, political campaigner, activist, and commentator. He is a member of the editorial committee of the New Left Review and Sin Permiso, and regularly contributes to The Guardian, CounterPunch, and the London Review of Books.
Here is what other said about the book:
- Tariq Ali tells us the story of the aftermath of the fall of Granada by narrating a family sage of those who tried to survive after the collapse of their world. Ali is particularly deft at evoking what life must have been like for those doomed inhabitants, besieged on all sides by intolerant Christendom. "This is a novel that have something to say, and says it well."—The Guardian
- Spain 1499. A novel set in a disappeared Arab world. In the final days of the Muslim kingdom of Andalus, Ali’s characters feel overwhelmed by encroaching Christian intolerance. He seems to mark it as the moment when the flowering of medieval Islamic culture shifted onto the stultifying road that leads to bin Laden, and when the west began the imperialistic, racist expansion that would converge so devastatingly with that path in the last decade." -http://versouk.wordpress.com

Ones they brought so much joy to someone and now they lay somewhere
forgotten collecting dust. I was on flicker and I stumbled upon these.
You can see them under the text. The ones that I have put here are nice

use them.
Time that we live in is very fast and things change around you you don't

send on postcards don't exist anymore but they have left trace around
the world being send on the front pages of postcards. They are like
keepers of history and plus every single one of theme has different
story on it's beck, has its soul I could say. Maybe today I ll go and
try to find some of the old postcards and see what kind of stories are
they caring on their backs for all this time. Enjoy...
For this time that is about it. More next time. Don't forget to subscribe and come agine.

No space on blogs!!!
Imagine person who goes around blogging sites and occupies domains for
fun or I don't know why. When I try to open a new blog I can't fine any
name available, I can only imagine what trouble will my future kids or
grand kids have when they try to open a blog. It is unbelievable, blog
should be erased and freed if the blog creator is not active in a year
or so. Just check out some of this blogs that have occupied domains and
never wrote anything.
I rally cant understand this people. Is it maybe because it is free? I
don't thin that that is a case because if that was true everybody would
use Linux. Oh yea now I get it they don't use Linux because they are
maybe stupid. So maybe that is the main reason why they occupy blog
domains for nothing. Free unused domains so that people who want to use them can! And
so that people who really want to blog can get proper names for their
domains and not something like this http;//1293jnkasnd.blogspot.com. We
love blogging they don't!!!
The Grey-Poem
The Gray - Movie Poster |
Once more in to the fray...
Into the last good fight I'll ever know.
Live and die on this day...
Live and die on this day...
This are the ending lines of the movie called "THE GREY".
Last scene is very very good. I liked it very much. The good thing
about this movie is that it doesn't have typical Hollywood ending. Movie
is based on short story called "Ghost Walker" written by Ian Mackenzie
Jeffers. Main character is played by Liam Neeson and it is one of his
best performances I have seen.
After their plane crashes in Alaska, seven oil workers are led by a
skilled huntsman to survival, but a pack of merciless wolves haunts
their every step. Live or die, give up or continue to fight? If end is
inevitable will you surrender or continue to fight.
Although the movie is based on the short story called "Ghost Walker" I have watched other similar movie called "Alive"
which is based on true story when airplane carrying 45 person including
a rugby team crushed somewhere in Andes. Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571
crashed in the Andes on October 13, 1972. More than a quarter of the
passengers died in the crash, and several others quickly succumbed to
cold and injury. Of the 29 who were alive a few days after the accident,
another eight were killed by an avalanche that swept over their shelter
in the wreckage. The last 16 survivors were rescued on December 23,
1972, more than two months after the crash.
The survivors had little food and no source of heat in the harsh
conditions at over 3,600 metres (11,800 ft) altitude. Faced with
starvation and radio news reports that the search for them had been
abandoned, the survivors fed on the dead passengers who had been
preserved in the snow. Rescuers did not learn of the survivors until 72
days after the crash when passengers Nando Parrado and Roberto Canessa,
after a 10-day trek across the Andes, found a Chilean huaso, who gave
them food and then alerted authorities about the existence of the other
survivors.
Walter Defends Sarajevo
Movie Poster- Walter Defends Sarajevo |
I haven't told you where I am from :D Well I am from Bosnia and
today I want to recommend one old movie that was made during the
Yugoslavia. It is a classical movie about bad guys Nazi Germans and good
guys Tito's partisans. It is a true story about a man who tried to stop
Nazi soldiers in World War II called Walter. With the help of citizens
of Sarajevo Walter is trying to sabotage Nazis resupply line that is
needed for resupplying Germans tank division which retreats from Greece
and it is on its way to help Hitler in war against alias in the wast.
One of the best Hitler's commanders comes to Sarajevo and plots in hope
to capture Walter but does he succeed? If you want to watch the movie
you can watch it on you tube with English subtitles here. It is a empowering story about men and women who decided not to stay blind on injustices.

Ken Follett - World Withot End
Book Cover |
This is one of my favorite books. It is maybe the longest book that I have ever read but it was worth every single
word. I like medieval stories but this book took me right to the
medieval Europe in XIV century. The characters in the book are very well
described and created that at some point I wanted to enter the story
myself and deal with bad ones my way and help the good ones. The
medieval life and customs are very good described and historically
accurate. If you have time I strongly recommend this book written by Ken
Follett.
Part of the book:
On the day after Halloween, in the year 1327, four children slip away
from the cathedral city of Kingsbridge. They are a thief, a bully, a boy
genius and a girl who wants to be a doctor. In the forest they see two
men killed. As adults, their lives will be braided together by ambition,
love, greed and revenge. They will see prosperity and famine, plague
and war. One boy will travel the world but come home in the end; the
other will be a powerful, corrupt nobleman. One girl will defy the might
of the medieval church; the other will pursue an impossible love. And
always they will live under the long shadow of the unexplained killing
they witnessed on that fateful childhood day. Ken Follett's masterful
epic "The Pillars of the Earth" enchanted millions of readers with its
compelling drama of war, passion and family conflict set around the
building of a cathedral. Now "World Without End" takes readers back to
medieval Kingsbridge two centuries later, as the men, women and children
of the city once again grapple with the devastating sweep of historical
change.
